We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time bookkeeper to join the finance team in our Portsmouth office, to process the group’s own financial records and carry out general administrative functions within the business. Key responsibilities are:

  • reconciling the automated elements of the bookkeeping
  • providing assistance in the production of management accounts
  • preparing reports for internal review, such as supplier payments and payroll
  • liaising with the head of each portfolio and with external suppliers
  • credit card and expenses management
  • posting sales ledger receipts

Knowledge & Experience:

  • minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice or a professional firm
  • practical experience of Xero /Cloud accounting and Group accounts
  • AAT qualified, minimum of level 3
  • minimum of B (or equivalent) in Maths and English at GCSE
  • excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills as a minimum
  • excellent IT skills
  • highly personable with excellent communication skills


  • £22,000  – £26,000 per annum
