Originally from Lewes, Suzanne has a family background in farming and is passionate about the countryside.
Following university she qualified as an accountant, specialising in the agricultural industry and over the past 22 years has provided in-depth advice to farms, vineyards and owner-managed businesses across Sussex and the South East.
Suzanne believes that today’s farmers and other owner-managed businesses require much more than simply compliance-based services, as she explains:
‘I see my role as being an adviser and mentor as well as an accountant, and given the huge challenges of today’s business climate – not least Brexit – there is an important hand-holding element to what I do. It is very rewarding when a client regards you not only as their accountant but a valued part of their business.
‘We can help with creative and workable solutions as well as advise on tax implications, better use of digital software, commerce, budgeting and forecasting and funding.’
